March Favourites

I know that I'm a few days late, but since monthly faves are some of my favourite posts to read, I wanted to go ahead and post my March Favourites. It's been quite a while since I've done one of these, so I've been enjoying several of these products for more than the past month. But since I don't think you will hold that against me, so without further ado...

Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliners These eyeliners are easily the smoothest, creamiest ones I've ever tried and I think they are criminally underhyped within the beauty community. I picked this trio up as a set, which is sadly no longer available. But you can still order each individually. I would personally recommend the gold, which is beautiful on the lower lash line with any neutral look. Available at Sephora for $20.

Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser Since I talked about this in my recent skincare post here, I will keep this short and sweet: this cleanser is amazing. You need it, particularly if you have oily, clog-prone skin like me. Available at Sephora for $62.

Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé Blush in Fig/Opal I'm beyond excited for Spring + Summer, which made me pull this out of the back of my blush drawer. I'm always confused as to why more people don't talk about these blushes. Like the new Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Blushes, these combine a blush and highlighter in one product. The result is a luminous blush that melts into the skin. I have three different shades, but Fig/Opal has been my go-to recently, as it works with just about any look. Available at Ulta for $27.

Surratt Lipslique in Églantine I ordered this on a whim when the Surratt line launched at Sephora, but it sat untouched in my drawer for months. But ever since I gave it a try, I haven't been able to stop wearing it. A mid-toned rose with a beautiful sheen, Églantine is perfect for daytime wear in a professional setting (meaning I can wear it to the office. #win) The texture is super comfortable and easy to apply. My only question now is what shade of the Lipsliques I should buy next. Suggestions welcome! Available at Sephora for $34.

Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Eyehadow in 6 Khaki Pulse After planning on buying #05 Gold Blitz for months, I had a last minute change of heart and ordered Khaki Pulse during the last VIB sale. I am planning on getting Gold Blitz during the sale that starts in a few days, but in the meantime I have loved Khaki Pulse. It is a stunning shade that is different from the shades I normally wear. But with a matte brown in the crease, this is still supremely wearable. Available at Nordstrom for $35.

Swatches from Bottom to Top: Ardency Inn Modster Eyeliners in Black, Coffee, & Gold; Surratt Lipslique in Églantine, Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Fig/Opal, Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill in Khaki Pulse
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara My last mascara selection was a bit of a dud (Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof), so I was ready for a new one and I have been absolutely shocked by how much I love this. I have vague memories of trying Better Than Sex in the past and not liking it, but it gives me the longest and most fluttery lashes of life. It is literally the perfect mascara, except for the fact that it flakes when I am at the gym. In its defense, I am a sweaty beast at the gym, so I can't hold it against the mascara. But now that Too Faced has released a Waterproof version, I'm going to try out that one. But in the meantime, consider me smitten. Available at Ulta for $23.

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer in Mattifying + Smoothing I wholeheartedly think that primers make a profound difference in how my base products apply and last throughout the day, so when I find a good primer, I get excited. Among the Make Up For Ever line of primers, I have been using the Mattifying Primer on my nose (prime oil slick territory for yours truly) and the Smoothing Primer on my chin and cheeks (where I have large pores and a bit of scarring). These primers don't ball under my foundations or tinted moisturizers and a little goes a long way. I would recommend checking out the travel sizes if you want to test them out. Available at Sephora for $17.

Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Face Primer As I mentioned above, I am beyond ready for it to be spring/summer and with that has come a desire to disregard all of my full coverage base products. At the moment, I'm totally feeling light coverage and dewy skin. The Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Face Primer offers exceptionally light coverage, so I tend to wear it when I'm a) feeling lazy and b) in a 'casually running errands at the weekend' mode. I've just picked up the Chantecailled Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer, so the Sunday Riley might go on the back burner for a while, but in the meantime I've been really liking my rediscovery of this product. Available at Sephora for $48.

That's all, folks. What have your favourite products been this month? Let me know below!
