Ofra Liquid Lipstick

Miami Fever
Despite only discovering her a few months ago, I've rapidly become a KathleenLights fangirl. So when she uploaded a video to introduce her collaboration with Ofra on a Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Miami Fever, I knew that I would be picking it up.

It wasn't that the shade, which is a warm orange-y brick red, would suit my cool toned skin particularly well, but A) I knew that it would be unique in my collection, and B) Kathleen & a few other beauty bloggers had raved about the quality of the Ofra liquid lipsticks.

Miami Fever
I had barely heard of Ofra prior to Kathleen's video, but I found a few swatch videos and decided that I would use the 40% off code (Kathleen40) to pick up a few different shades. It looks like Miami Fever is now sold out (I truly don't know if they will restock, but I hope they will because this shade is gorgeous) but there are still tons of other stunning shades to choose from. And her code is still valid!

These have a mousse-y texture upon application, which I think makes them easy to apply. I find that with formulas that are more liquid-y it can be difficult to get a crisp and straight lip line. But the Ofra ones apply like a dream! They are also very pigmented and not at all patchy. #winning

Santa Ana
These never completely set; instead, they remain ever-so-slightly tacky and they do transfer (again, only ever-so-slightly) but they are the most comfortable liquid lipstick I have ever worn bar none. Because they don't dry down completely, they never give your lips that tight, uncomfortable feeling. And they last all day long. Literally. I put on Miami Fever first thing in the morning, and it was still going strong by the time I removed my makeup before bed. They even withstood the three hour nap I took...ahem. I will concede that they fade slightly throughout their wear time (what lip product doesn't?) but they fade evenly and you don't have to worry about getting the dreaded ring around your lips.

L to R: Mocha, Miami Fever, Santa Ana
Besides Miami Fever, I also ordered Mocha (a brownish pink nude) and Santa Ana (a mid-tone rose). I truly cannot emphasize enough how much I love these liquid lipsticks. Even if you can no longer get your hands on Miami Fever, if you enjoy a matte lip, check these out.

The Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks are normally $19.90, but with the 40% off code, they're less than $12 each. Ofra does offer free shipping over $50 with the code FreeOver50, but you can't stack codes so you have to either choose to use a % discount or the free shipping (FYI: the % discount is a better deal).
