Pink Pucker

Top to Bottom: Bite Luminous Crème Lipstick in Palamino, IT Cosmetics Vitality Lipgloss in Je Ne Sais Quoi,
Lipstick Queen Sinner in Bright Rose
L to R: Lipstick Queen Bright Rose, Bite Beauty Palomino, IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi
As I previously mentioned, I've recently picked up quite a few new beauty items in various shades of pink (secret confession: I've got even more in the post making their way to me. Shhhhhh!) The first three I wanted to feature fall into my favorite beauty category: lips! I was really hoping at least one of these would be a dud, but I'm afraid that I think all three are worthy of a space in my collection.

First up is the Lipstick Queen Sinner in Bright Rose. The Sinner lipsticks offer a creamy and opaque formula, with a semi-matte finish. Bright Rose is just that: a bright, warm rosy shade. I love how it brightens the face and doesn't pull too fuchsia. Bright Rose doesn't last particularly long on me, but it is an easy shade to reapply.

Next on the hit parade is Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Palomino. I--quite literally--own at least one shade from pretty much every line made by Bite Beauty. One that had evaded me until recently was the Luminous Crème Lipstick. I initially set out to buy one of the nude shades in the line, but I just couldn't walk away from Palomino, which is described as a 'vibrant magenta'. In my mind I thought Bright Rose and Palomino would be quite similar, but Palomino is much darker and far cooler in tone. It is less bright, with more of a purple undertone.

Palomino is also creamier and slightly more matte than Bright Rose. On my skin tone, I think Palomino would work best as a winter color. Or perhaps as an evening shade. But I think it would be fan-fucking-tastic on someone with olive skin or who's got a bit of a tan!

IT Cosmetics Vitality Flush Lip Blush Gloss in Je Ne Sais Quoi

Last up is the most unique product: IT Cosmetics lipgloss in Je Ne Sais Quoi. In the tube (as you can see), Je Ne Sais Quoi looks suuuuuuuper pale. If I had just seen it in a store display, I would have never given this product a second look. Fortunately, however, LisaLisaD1 mentioned this in one of her videos, explaining that this is a 'mood lipgloss'. It applies quite light (almost clear) but reacts with your body chemistry to turn a deeper pink shade, unique to each individual.

On me, Je Ne Sais Quoi verges on Barbie territory, but I don't think it ever crosses that line completely! It is less purple in real life than it is reading on camera, but it is definitely a noticeable shade. Formula-wise, this lipgloss is not at all sticky. It feels really moisturizing on the lips and doesn't settle into lip lines. I plan on experimenting more with this product, layering it over different lip liners. I liked it so much, I also ordered the IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi lipstick, as well!

Have you tried any of these products? What are your favorite products for pink lips?
