Rouge Ecstasy - 105 Ambiguous |
Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipsticks: Armani didn't seem to do any pre-release promotion on these (which I find bizarre). They just sent out an email announcing their release online, and the next day I saw them at my Giorgio Armani counter. I tried on 105 Ambiguous, which is a rosey nude colour. These lipsticks are very moisturizing, with a unique creamy, but not heavy, texture. I'm trying to hold out until Armani does their 20% off Friends & Family sale (usually in November, if memory
serves).
Vince D'Orsay Flats: I am obsessed with D'Orsay style shoes this season. I think they are so stylish--classic, yet modern and a bit different at the same time. I've found a pair of heels that I love, but I am still searching for a flat version. I ordered a pair from Zara, but they just didn't fit me properly and I think they will have to go back. This version by Vince is gorgeous though.
Addiction Sugar Rusk Eyeshadow Palette: Sugar Rusk is apparently a best selling shade from the high end Japanese brand Addiction. I've recently been getting more into Japanese brands (largely thanks to the beautiful and witty blog Drivel About Frivol) and many of them are accessible--at a marked up price--on Ichibanko, a very reputable website. Sugar Rusk is a beautiful neutral palette. My only hesitation is that I can't swatch the colors in person before ordering. I might just get it sight unseen, anyways!
Burberry Single Breasted Trench Coat: I've been wanting to get a trench coat for ages (for someone who lived in rainy Britain for so many years, I'm at a loss as to why I've never owned one), but the common double breasted style just doesn't flatter me. So, I'm on the hunt for a nice single breasted one. Wish me luck!

Apparently both Gisele and Miranda use the RMS Beauty Living Luminizer |
Loeffler Randall Matilde Boots: It's a mouthful to say, but these boots are everything I want in life. Well, everything I want in a boot, at least. They are casual, yet don't have the buckles/studs/straps/tassels/bells/whistles that ruin most boots for me. I have many pairs of boots, but my last pair in this sleek style had to be retired years ago, after some irreparable holes in the soles appeared. These would be the perfect replacement.
Le Métier de Beauté Crème Fresh Tint for Lip & Cheek in Ginger Lily: Side note: doesn't Ginger Lily sound like something Jamie Oliver would name his daughter?...Ginger Lily, in reality a lip & cheek tint--not the offspring of a celebrity chef, is the latest blush I've been coveting. Following my purchase of the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Pink Escape, I've been obsessed with finding more brands that offer cream and gel blushes that give a dewy, rather than powder, finish. After scouring the internet for recommendations, I found these bad boys. LMdB offers the Lip & Cheek tint in five different shades, but Ginger Lily looks the most unique, yet wearable to me.
Chanel Resynchronizing Skincare: This new trio of products from Chanel promise to overhaul your skin and give you luminescence like you've never seen. I sampled the 'Le Jour de Chanel' (a salicylic acid concentrate to be worn daily) and liked it so much, I ordered a full size. Next up, I want to try 'Le Weekend', a glycolic acid exfoliator.
Canon T3i 50mm/F1.8 Lens: My current camera lens just isn't cutting it for blog photos. It has a hard time focusing on very close objects, making my makeup closeups a bit tricky. Plus, I'm telling myself that I'll also use it to improve my photography skills of non-makeup items, too.
What are you lusting after at the moment?
I have been eyeing the RMS Beauty Living Luminizer! Never knew Giselle or Miranda uses it! And now I want it even more! Oops.
ReplyDeleteHaha! It never helps when two of the most beautiful super models use the product you want! It looks absolutely gorgeous...I'm hoping that if I get it and love it, maybe it will be motivation to get rid of some of my highlighters!
ReplyDeleteso pretty!

I'm so with you on the Burberry Trench and the RMS living luminizer! I'm just a little nervous about the coconut in the RMS. But it's not a cult favorite for nothing, right?? Ok, ok...LOL...added to my list again :-)
ReplyDeleteI may or may not have just ordered both the RMS luminizer and the Circ-Cell pH Perfector.....I mean, Dermstore has 20% off right now, so I would be crazy *not* to buy them, right??
DeleteHaaa ha ha!!! I love it!!! Uuummm, yeah...sale means you are kind of obligated to get them!!! Yay can't wait to see what you think - waiting (im)patiently for the reviews :-)
