Doesn't it look like an anchor?! |
The gold accents (which remind me of an anchor, btw) make them look a lot more expensive than they were (somewhere just under $40). Definitely more sophisticated than your average flip flop. I am glad that I saw these in person, rather than just online because they ran quite small. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, and I had to go up to an 8.5 in these shoes so that my feet didn't hang off the back.
I haven't worn them, except just around the house a bit, so I don't know how comfortable they will be--flat sandals always seem to give me blisters on the sole of my foot. Anyone else have this happen? But I don't think I'll be doing all that much walking down in Mexico (I'm focusing on laying out in the sand, reading some good books, and learning to surf) so I am sure I'll manage even if they aren't the most comfortable.
I'm super happy with this find--and keep DSW in mind if you're looking for any shoes, particularly out of season ones. Everytime I go in there I find that I am incredibly impressed by the selection!

These look really comfy. Like the way it has a strap at the ankle for a better grip. :)
