Empties posts and videos are some of my absolute favourites, so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and do one of my own! In the interest of full disclosure, I accumulated these items over the past few months, but one of my goals of 2013 is to use up products, so hopefully I will have enough empties each month to make this a regular thing.
Here are the products I've used up with some comments about a few products that I like in particular. First, in the far left picture:
- Candles by Victoria candle in Three Wise Men (this candle was so scented--it lasted forever and I absolutely love it. The scent includes frankincense, myrrh, patchouli and sandalwood. To me, it is a slightly masculine, warm and rich scent that is perfect for winter. Definitely check these bad boys out!)
- Bath & Body Works 3-wick candles in the scents: Cranberry Woods, Tis the Season, Black Pepper Bergamot, Leaves, and Frosted Cranberry
- Bath & Body Works wallflower bulbs
- DDF Blemish Fighting Cleanser (I always seem to go back to this cleanser. This is probably my third bottle. I find them at Marshalls & TJ Maxx a lot--just remember to check the expiry dates. It does exactly what it says it will do, and isn't too harsh on my skin.)
- MAC Cleanse Off Oil (my first oil cleanser, which has gotten me hooked! I'm currently using the Boscia cleansing oil, but I can foresee a return to MAC once that is out)
- Herbal Essences Conditioner
- MOR Hand Lotion in Sugar Rose Tiger Lily (in addition to having a great name, these lotions are amazing! The scent is light and blends well with a variety of perfumes. And it is incredibly hydrating on the hands, without leaving any grease or residue. I raved about another scent in this line here. And bonus: MOR is now available at Ulta.)
- Equate eyemakeup remover (isn't great on waterproof mascaras, but it does the trick and doesn't leave a film on my eyes)
- Secret deodorant (glamorous, eh?)
- L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil (I've already replaced this with a large size bottle. It's amazing and gives the best, closest shave in the world. Seriously, try it out!)
- Sally Hansen cuticle oil
- Origins Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel
- Smashbox PhotoFinish Primer Light (for what it's worth, this did not break out my oily/acne-prone skin)
- Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes
- Sunsilk conditioner sample
- DHC Oil Cleanser (this had a thinner consistency than both the MAC Cleanse Off oil and the Boscia oil cleanser, but I liked it and have gone through several samples. Perhaps a full-size purchase is in my future)
- Kate Walsh Boyfriend EDP
- Taylor Swift Wonderstruck (too young and sweet for my tastes, but to each his own! And I love getting multiple samples of a fragrance so I can really give it a fair try!)
- Tom Ford Violet Blonde EDP (Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous scent. This will be one of my next fragrance purchases, without a doubt!)
Oh my gosh, I love empties videos/blog posts too! I'm planning on doing one coming up soon :D Well, as soon as I accumulate more stuff!
ReplyDeleteI knew I wasn't the only one who loved them! :) There's something so cathartic about it!
DeleteI need more candles, they create a warm ambiance in winters.

PrettyGloss - makeup, beauty & a lil gibberish
For sure! I have one burning pretty much non-stop throughout the winter.
