I've always struggled to find sunglasses that I both liked and that suited me. After searching for years, I was given two different pairs of Chanel sunglasses by a friend--and I absolutely loved both! Alas, I left the first pair on a train from Paris to Geneva (shockingly, the French are not the most helpful when it comes to tracking down lost property). I treasured the second pair all the more for having lost the first, but they were sadly stolen out of my car when it was broken into.
Thus began another search to find a replacement. I was happy enough to go a couple of months without any sunglasses while I searched for the perfect pair, but my upcoming trip to Mexico for my sister's wedding has made finding a replacement a bit more imperative! After looking everywhere I could think of for a new pair, I decided to take a trip to my local outlet mall to pop into a Saks Off 5th (I seem to always have luck in this shop....I find lots of great stuff, and it's always impressively discounted!)
I ended up falling in love with this Marc by Marc Jacobs pair in the model number MMJ 238. I love their retro chic style and I've always found brown sunglasses easier to wear than black ones (they always appear too harsh). These were originally $120, but I got mine for less than half of that. Even if you don't have an outlet or Saks Off Fifth nearby, you might still find a good bargain on sunglasses and other summer apparel at this time of year!
