February Birchbox

Based on what I've been reading online lately, it seems that a lot of people have fallen out of love with the so-called subscription sample boxes. Much of this disillusionment seems to come from either A) Not receiving full-size products in the boxes or B) Not getting samples that are really wanted. As for me, given that it only costs around $10 per month, I'm still enjoying all of the subscription services I have (Birchbox, MyGlam, and BeautyArmy). I haven't received enough MyGlam or BeautyArmy boxes yet to form an opinion as to which is my favorite, but I'll keep you posted!

This month, my Birchbox included the following:

  • Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint
  • Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
  • Eye Rock Designer Liner Stickers
  • Beauty Blender
  • Heart-shaped Nail File
All in, between the Beauty Blender and the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, this month's box has defintely paid off. I myself am not a huge fan of the Beauty Blender, and already have one myself, but many people swear by them so I'm going to give this to a friend who I think will love it! I have also already given away the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant--I use this and have a full-size container (which cost $50, btw) so I gave the large sample size to my sister, who also loves this products for clearing away dead skin on a daily basis!

I don't know that I would ever use the Eye Rock Designer Liner stickers, as I'm not a crazy liner type of person, but I'm once again thinking that I might be able to give this away. All in all, whether or not you think these services are worth it is totally up to you, it's all a matter of personal preference!

  1. I'm in the same boat as you but I think I'm addicted to receiving goodies in the mail. I didn't know about the other services you mention, so thanks for tipping me off to those!

    1. My pleasure! I also know that there are others like the Test Tube and (allegedly) there are going to be some Canadian sample boxes entering the US market soon!
