Jemma Kidd EOTD

After having just received my JK Jemma Kidd Catwalk I-Kit that I talked about here, I decided that I wanted to give it a test run. The palette features plenty of gorgeous shades, but I was in the mood for a semi-matte eye look today. Mattes are not usually what I go for on my eyes, but I find myself increasingly drawn towards them! Maybe it's a sign I'm getting old, but I find that a matte neutral look is supremely sophisticated and wearable!

I decided to dip my toe in the matte pool today, by combining the matte shade Vanity Fair from the Jemma Kidd Palette, which is a warm mid-tone brown shade, with Bootycall from Urban Decay's Naked2 palette. Bootycall has a satiny finish and blended beautifully with Vanity Fair--and I think it kept the look from being 'too matte' and flat!
