Scents of the Season

Now that winter is officially upon us, I am craving winter fragrances to exchange for my lighter summer fare. Here is my dream list of the moment:

Tom Ford Black Orchid: This entered my rotation last year and is maybe my all time favorite fragrance. I am terrible at describing scents, but it is a sexy woody oriental fragrance. I should probably only wear this at night, but with the cold weather, I think day time wear works, too.

Burberry Brit Eau de Toilette: This is an oriental floral scent and I prefer the eau de toilette to the eau de parfum. Although a floral scent, it suits the winter because it isn't overly floral or sweet--and is great for everyday use.

Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise Cologne: Anise has been one of my favorite scents since childhood and I am utterly fascinated by Jo Malone's colognes and the endless possibilities for layering. I picked up a small vial of this scent and cannot wait to get a bigger bottle.

Armani Code: This is the only scent on my list that I haven't smelled in person, but Sandra at 15 steps, then a beauty blog has mentioned it a few times and the notes (Blood orange, ginger, pear, jasmine) sound right up my alley. This might have to be my next purchase!
