Candles, Candles, Candles

L to R, Top to Bottom: Marshmallow Peppermint, Frosted Cranberry, Leaves,
Toasted Pistachio Delight, Winter Cabin, Sugarplum

Bath & Body Works is currently holding their semi-annual sale in stores and online. I don't care for most things at Bath & Body Works, least of all their lotions. I find them to be very drying and I also prefer my lotions to be unscented (so as to not clash with my perfume/eau de toilette).

Thus, the only time I go into Bath & Body Works is when I want to stock up on their Slatkin & Co. Candles, which are divine.  I stick to their 14.5 oz size, which have three wicks and burn very evenly (a pet peeve of mine is when candles burn down the jar unevenly--so much waste!) In addition, they have an impressively wide range of scents and the fragrance is strong enough to actually fill up a room. They can be fairly pricey, though, at about $20 a pop....which is why I only buy them when they are on sale! This doesn't usually require too much patience, as they seem to have a 2 for $20 sale about every other month. And right now most of their holiday & winter scents are on sale for $9.75 each, and there is also a coupon for $10 off of an order of $30 or more if you want to pick up a few!

The Bath & Body Works website has good descriptions of the scents, if you aren't able to go in and smell them yourself! And a little tip for when you are smelling different scents, whether it be when you are shopping for candles or perfumes, if you sniff a container of coffee beans in between scents, it will cleanse the palette and you'll be able to distinguish the scents better!
